5 Homemade Non-Toxic Cleaning Products

It’s been a while since we have written about DIY cleaning products. Well, here we are again talking about all the beauty it holds and how easy it is to make them. The first and best part is that they are non-toxic which we all need nowadays since almost everything we touch or even eat is holding crumbs of toxins. The other good thing about DIY and chemical free cleaning products is that they are cheap. You don’t need to spend a fortune on your cleaning products to disinfect your house. With the help of a few natural disinfectants, your house will be bright and clean!

All-purpose cleaner: This recipe will work like magic. You don’t need toxic chemicals to deep clean your house. This simple DIY all-purpose cleaner is magic. Grab a spray bottle and mix the following ingredients: 1/2 cup of white vinegar, juice of 1 lemon, 2 cups of water, 1/2 teaspoon of Castile Soap. Shake them well and you’re ready for deep cleaning.

The DIY all-purpose cleaner will work like magic and won’t cost a thing.

Natural disinfectant: If you want a germ-free house without using any harmful chemicals try this recipe out. The star of this recipe is white vinegar. You will need 1/2 cup of white vinegar, 2 cups of hot water, 1 teaspoon of washing soda, 10 drops of tea tree oil. Add them to a spray bottle and shake it well to mix all the ingredients.

Peppermint toilet bombs: When it comes to clean the toilet you have to be practical. Nobody wants to be involved with the toilet but it needs to be cleaned. This is the part spotlights spot toilet bombs. Combine 1 cup of baking soda and 1/2 cup citric acid in a large bowl. Add 25 drops of peppermint and 10 drops of tea tree essential oil. Mix thoroughly. But for other times you can use this mixture made of 2 cups baking soda and 10-20 drops of essential oil. Sprinkle the mixture on the carpet, let it sit for at least an hour then vacuum.

Powdered laundry detergent: As long as you avoid contact with your eyes borax is a DIY friendly product to use. Borax softens hard water, inhibits fungal growth, neutralises musty odour while removing soap residue. Mix the following ingredients with 2 cups of borax: 1 bar of Castile soap, 2 cups of super washing soda, 1 cup of baking soda, 30 drops of essential oil of your choice.
