Keep the drum dry: This should be on the top of your checklist if you want to keep your washing machine clean, hygienic and mould free. Make sure the drum doesn’t stay damp for a long time. After removing the laundry leave the door open so the drum can stay dry. It’s also for the sake of the drum to leave the door slightly open while it’s not in use.

On the front of your machine, you will see a small place to do it. When you open the door you will see a short hose to drain the water. After draining the water you can take out the filter and wash it clean. Be careful. If you take the filter before draining the water you will end up at least one litre of water on the floor.
