We all love our shampoo, don’t we? It’s the essential product of a relaxing shower. The feeling and the smell makes us happier, relaxed and freshened up after the shower. The smell follows us even after the shower. But did you know that your shampoo is capable of doing more? It can be a great cleaning product. Most shampoos are harmful chemical free nowadays. That makes them perfect home cleaning products. If you changed your shampoo recently for a more eco-friendly one and don’t know what to do with your old shampoo stock here is a list for you.

Clean your makeup brushes: Most of us ignore the fact that makeup brushes should be cleaned frequently. The fact is that makeup brushes should be washed at least once a month. Mix a few drops of shampoo and warm water in a big glass of water. Put your brushes in and let them soak for 10 minutes. Rinse and leave them to dry. Voila! They are brand new and smell gorgeous.

  1. Informative article, thanks for sharing! You can also make shampoos using homemade kitchen ingredients such as vinegar. You can add 1/2 gallon of water with 1/2 gallon vinegar (white) and your synthetic shampoo is ready. You can also use hydrogen peroxide for carpet cleaning.
