Majority of the households go for commercial cleaning products owing to the ease of purchase. They do not think twice before investing in such products as these are widely available. Continuous inhalation of such chemical products is not good especially for kids and elderly people.
The only solution to this problem is to go for homemade cleaning products that are not only natural but saves quite a few pennies. Here are a few interesting natural cleaning recipes you can try at home.
All-Purpose cleaner: Whether you want to clean your kitchen, bath or even the floor of the house, this all-purpose cleaner will be useful. To make this solution, combine 2 cups each of vinegar and water, 1 teaspoon of dish soap, a few drops of lemon essential oil in a spray bottle. Shake and use it to clean your interior.
Mirror or glass cleaner: Combine 3 cups of water, ¼ cup each of rubbing alcohol and vinegar and 20 drops of peppermint or spearmint oil. Shake well and use it to clean your mirror. You can use a paper towel or newspaper to wipe down the mirror.
Toilet cleaner: Combine ¾ cup of water, ½ cup of baking soda, ¼ cup hydrogen peroxide and 1/3 cup of dishwashing soap along with a few drops of eucalyptus essential oil in a squeeze bottle. Pour this solution on the toilet and scrub and clean after some time.
Shower cleaner: Pour 1 ½ cup of water, 1 cup of white vinegar and ½ cup of rubbing alcohol followed by 1 teaspoon of dish soap, a few drops of lime essential oil and tea tree essential oil in a spray bottle. Shake well and spray inside the shower cubicle. This will help prevent mold and mildew buildup.
