Simple Things To Make Your Life Easier

We have many things to do but very limited time in our daily lives. As Justmop, we understand the struggle and always want to help you. We hope these simple things help you spend less time and effort dealing with your house and more time with your loved ones.

Freshen as you vacuum: Add a few drops of essential oil on a small tissue, napkin or cotton ball. Vacuum it up. Now as you vacuum your house will smell amazing.

Remove hard water deposits on the showerhead: Fill a bucket with water. Add 1/2 cup vinegar. Let the vinegar do its magic for 15 minutes. If your showerhead is fixed on the wall then you can tape a bag full of vinegar around it.

Dust off your fan’s blades: Use an old pillowcase to clean your fan’s blade. Then vacuum your carpet. If your fan is near your bed, cover it with a top sheet so you don’t get dust all over your bed.

Clean your mattress: Mix 5 tablespoons of baking soda and 5 drops of lavender oil. Sprinkle the mixture over the mattress, leave it for an hour and then vacuum it.

Sanitise your garbage disposal: Slice lemons and put a piece in each ice cube mold. Then fill each with white vinegar. When they all are frozen you can use them as sanitiser. Every few day throw a handful of these in the garbage disposal and run until they dissolve.

Throw a handful of lemon ice cubes in the garbage disposal.

Dust off the blinds: Use an old sock as a glove and clean all the blinds you have with no effort. If you see stains on the blinds you can damp the sock with vinegar to remove them.

Make your oven shine again: A paste made from vinegar, baking soda and dishwashing liquid will remove stains if you let the paste sit for a few hours in the oven. After a few hours wipe it away with a damp cloth.

Clean up pet hair: Wear rubber gloves and rub the surface with your pets hair.

Rubber gloves will help you to remove your pet’s hair.

We hope these tricks help you in your daily routine. But for big work like deep cleaning you can always ask Justmop cleaning team’s help.

  1. I love the rubber gloves idea! I was just combing my dog today and then had to vacuum up after myself because it’s too cold to make him stand outside the entire time I groom him. I will definitely be using this tip, thank you!

Hi Adrienne! Thank you for leaving a comment. Let us know how it works for you. 🙂

      • My husband and I bathed our blue heeler last weekend and I always comb/brush him a lot in the week after his bath to get rid of excess hair. Love doing it outside but as I said it’s been quite chilly for that lately. I took him down into the laundry room and brushed him while wearing rubber gloves and the clean up was a lot simpler! Thanks so much for the great tip that I will now use as long as I have a dog.
