We know finding the motivation to workout is already a thing and now we are going to tell you something which will make you frustrated. You need to clean your gym material very often. But luckily we know how and will guide you through it.
Gym Bag: It’s important that you choose a washable bag for your gym equipment. Your carry bag is exposed to a lot of bacteria and germs, especially from your after workout outfits, such as towels and mats. The best way is to have several gym bags. So you can wash one and use another. When you don’t wash it, let some fresh into the bag.
Yoga Mat: You should clean your yoga mat right after each use. All the sweat and germs hanging in the gym studio cause your gear to get dirty, smelly and moldy. To fight against this we recommend you to prepare an eco-friendly spray. You will need a small spray bottle, tea tree oil and lavender oil. Fill the bottle with spring water, add one or two drops of tea tree oil, and a few drops of lavender. Tea tree oil is a natural antibacterial and antifungal agent which makes it essential for this recipe. Throw this in your bag and use it after work out, not only for your yoga mat but for everything in your gym bag, including the bag itself.
Sneakers: There is no way to avoid bad odor after your workout. But there is a way to get rid of it. Sprinkle baking soda inside the shoes and leave it like that until the next use. Tap it out before using them again. Baking soda will absorb the bad odor.
Sport Bottle: Don’t wait till it gets moldy. You should wash your sport bottle after every workout session. It’s the only way to stay healthy. But if it’s too late and it’s covered with mold inside, you can make it brand new with just a healthy dose of bleach. Fill the waterbottle with hot water and add a few drops of bleach. Give it a good shake and leave it for a few hours. Rinse it with soapy water and wash it in dishwasher. That’s all!
Sport Bra: To soak up the sweat better, sports bras are made from very delicate fabric. Tossing it with your other laundry will only shorten its life. You can fill your sink with water or find a plastic bowl to fill up. Use mild detergent and warm water. Wash it carefully and after rinsing it leave it to dry.
Motivation is in you! You just need to find it! C’mon!
