Essential Oil Blends For A Wintry Feel

The essential oil is being widely used nowadays not just for its sweet smell but also for its therapeutic properties. It fills the room with a warm and refreshing feel and at the same time purifies the indoor air.

If you are like me and loves the smell of essential oil inside the house, especially during winter months, then here are a few blends you can try out.

Warm and cozy scent: Though winter in Dubai is not as harsh as the rest of the world, a warm and cozy feel inside the house is always desirable. For that mix few drops of cardamom, sweet orange and clove essential oil in a spray bottle, spray it all over the room. Cardamom and clove provide a warm scent and sweet orange release a scent that is refreshing.

Spicy scent: The best way to get a spicy scent all over the house is to boil a few spices in water. But since the scent is likely to fade away fast, a custom-made spicy scent blend is always desirable. For this make a mixture of cinnamon bark, ginger, sweet orange essential oil and spray it all over the room.

Cookie scent: Who doesn’t like the scent of baked cookies on a wintery afternoon? Mix cassia, clove, all spices, and ginger essential oil in a small bottle, keep it on the side of the room. You can also spray the mixture inside the house for more effect.

Minty scent: The scent of mint provides a refreshed and rejuvenated feel indoors. This is the best blend you can try after a tired day. To make this scent mix spearmint, cassia, and peppermint essential oil in a spray bottle then spray it all over the room. Alternatively, you can also dip a few cotton balls in this mixture and place it under the pillow or near the windows for a refreshed scent.

Holiday scent: What about getting a holiday mood in the middle of the week? For this, mix sweet orange, ginger, pine, cinnamon bark essential oil and spray it inside the room. Though there is nothing like a holiday scent, the relaxing flavor of pine and sweet orange can send you into a holiday mood.

Frosty scent: For those who are used to frost bites during the chilly winter months, this scent would provide a nostalgic effect. Mix spearmint, peppermint, fir needle, cedarwood essential oil and spray it. Spearmint and peppermint provide a cool minty feel and cedar wood, and fir needle provides a sweet, woody aroma.

Winter night scent: To get that special winter scent which you normally experience during the chilly nights in the western countries, mix fir needle, cedarwood, frankincense, rosemary essential oil and spray it inside the house.

With these simple essential oil blends, it is now possible to create a wintry feel in your house. What are you waiting for? Get these essential oils right away and transform the mood of your house!
