It is quite straight-forward. As soon as you place your booking for Justmop.com cleaning services, you will immediately receive an order confirmation by e-mail. For existing users and first-time users who choose to pay via credit card, the process is automated. You book your cleaning and wait to be served by a topnotch cleaning crew member. For the first-time users who choose to pay cash, we send a top-rated crew member once we get the order confirmation via phone. Our call center gives you a call to make sure we get the confirmation of your order details. We do our best to understand all your expectations and answer all possible questions you might have. Accordingl, our machine learning algorithm matches you with the perfect cleaning crew member.

Q: How many hours should I book?

A:

The duration of your cleaning service depends on the size of your house. Based on our years of experience with the mission of making your home shine, we have come up with the following scheme. However, depending on the scope of the job, the duration might differ.

  • Studio Apartment: 3 hours
  • 1-Bedroom Apartment: 3 to 5 hours
  • 2-Bedroom Apartment: 5 to 7 hours
  • 3-Bedroom Apartment: 7 to 9 hours

Above list is an estimate based on our experience for similar sized places for general cleaning. We never want to disappoint you. We humbly suggest you to book a longer cleaning session if you have different cleaning needs than general cleaning. To elaborate on what we mean, a move-in, move-out cleaning, deep cleaning of certain areas with machinery, cleaning of hard-to-reach areas, excessive ironing or cleaning inside the fridge, cupboards and the oven would be thought as tasks that would take more time.
If the cleaning crew member finishes earlier than how long you have booked her for, you would be expected to pay for the booked amount of time. You can always give us a heads up on which areas you would like us to focus on or any specific cleaning requirements in the cleaning instructions part.

Q: What if my cleaning schedule falls on a holiday?

We go above and beyond to provide you with a cleaning service even on holidays. If we are not able to serve you or have to replace your regular cleaning crew member, our team will get in touch with you 24 hours in advance to update you.

Q: Do you have a cancellation policy?

We are flexible. You can cancel your booking with a 24-hour notice. You can reach out to us at wecare@justmop.com at least 24 hours before your cleaning session is supposed to take place to update your booking details. If you would like to cancel or reschedule your booking within 24 hours of your booking’s start time, 50% of the booking fee will be charged.

Q: What should I do if I need to reschedule my booking?

If you want to reschedule your booking more than 24 hours before your cleaning session takes place, you can log in to account and manage your booking details online. You can always send us an email at WeCare@jutmop.com.

Q: What happens if I am not satisfied with the result?

A:

We have a satisfaction-guaranteed policy as long as we are notified within 24 hours after the service is completed. If our customers had a bad experience with our service, we investigate the root cause of the issue as soon as possible and we send a retouching team to make up for the inconvenience.

Q: What is your damage policy?

A:

In the rare case of damages, we first investigate the incident and may ask for any evidence of the damaged item and the value of the damaged item. After the investigations, if the helper is found to be responsible for the damage, we add free cleaning credits to your account to make up for the inconvenience. Justmop.com's responsibility is limited to a maximum of five (5) times the cost of service. All the claims must be in written format within 24 hours after the service is completed.

Q: Can I book the same cleaner more than once?

Yes, you can. 90% of our customers have weekly cleaning sessions with the same cleaner. It is easier for us to provide you the same cleaner you want if you have a recurring appointment (mostly weekly). We promise we do our best to send you the same cleaner if you book one-off or ad-hoc appointments but we cannot guarantee her availability as our top-rated crew members get filled up by weekly clients very fast.

Q: Should I need to be at home?

No. However, we recommend that you be present at home for the first time you book a home cleaning service through Justmop.com. So, you can meet the cleaner, show them your apartment and explain what you expect them to do. Above 85% of our users give their Justmop maids a set of keys for the following cleanings so they can do whatever they want while their regular helper takes care of the cleaning of their house. This is mostly valid for weekly or bi-weekly bookings. If you booked a one-off cleaning service then you will be expected to be present at home to give them access to the property. Otherwise, you need to let us know how you will let the maids in (i.e. leaving the key under the mat, giving the key to the security, Leaving the door open etc.)

Q: Do you supply your own cleaning materials?
